Happy Wheels has arrived just in time, as the tragic and blasphemous death of Flash is imminent. That was a tense moment. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. We hope the anxiety over losing Happy Wheels hasn't disrupted your sleep. If you weren't aware that a new version was in development, here's some exciting news: this is the first public release of the game. Please bear with us as we work to resolve any remaining bugs. While I still favor the Flash version, what I appreciate about this release is its excellent performance on mobile devices. Currently, however, there are no on-screen controls for mobile gameplay; these will be added in the next update. Thank you for your patience. If you're eager to try the game on your phone right away, a Bluetooth keyboard can serve as a handy alternative. Although I initially mentioned that the game would run at 60 frames per second, some of the more challenging levels may run more slowly at that rate. Fortunately, this setting can be adjusted, and I may consider hosting a dedicated 60 Hz version for users with high-performance CPUs. The rest of Happy Wheels JS aims to faithfully replicate the original in both design and gameplay. The database of users, levels, and replays remains unchanged from the original version. The only thing that’s gone is the impending doom of the universe’s end. Controls: Use the arrow keys to move left and right, and press the spacebar to jump.
