Exactly—world-renowned, or shall I say, internationally handsome Chef Alex has selected ME as his apprentice! Who would have imagined that just a year ago, I was fortunate enough to land a position as the official “wiener steamer” for my town’s annual hot dog eating contest—part of a new cooking game series, free of charge. To be honest, the last three winners can thank yours truly for their steamed wieners. Wow, I almost let that slip! Oh well... it’s not like anyone else is ever going to read this secret cooking diary anyway...
